Nippon Paint is a globally active company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that manufactures paint and paint products, inter alia for the automotive and shipbuilding industries. AOC produces specialty formulations and solutions, primarily resins and additives, for a wide variety of applications. The transaction value amounts to approx. USD 2.2 billion. The German Federal Cartel Office has cleared the transaction.
